Her July Currently

Hello all! It's July so it is time for another linkup with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade. Click on the photo for info and to join in the fun.

Listening - There is nothing on at 10:00 in the morning and I like to have background noise as I read blogs and check Facebook. Food Network Challenge is a good show for that.

Loving - In less than two weeks we will take the big bird across the big pond and spend one month with Sean's family to celebrate his sister's wedding and see all his family and friends. I am so so so so so so so excited!!!

Thinking - Because we are going to be gone for a month I know that we cannot leave the house a mess. That gives me a week and a half to do a deep cleaning on all rooms. I will need lots of positive thoughts and energy sent my way. :)

Wanting - I pulled a muscle in my lower back on Wednesday. I am prone to doing this so I know how to handle it, but it is a pain (pun-intended) since it keeps me from doing the things around the house that I need to do. I am hoping the pain subsides soon so that I can get on with the cleaning and laundry.

Needing - I have been working on a scarf for myself that I thought was almost done but I decided that I wanted it to be longer. I am hoping the yarn store has another skein of the same yarn (different color); I am nervous because it has been a few months since I bought the original two.

Tips, Tricks, or Hints - My blogging tip is to blog about what you want to talk about and what you want to share. Rather than worry about what others want to read or what others want your blog to be about, focus on you. When you are writing things that you are passionate about or topics that interest you, others will see that and will be interested.

Happy July everyone!

  1. I know your yarn color matching dilemma. When I buy yarn for a crocheting project, I usually buy one extra of each color just in case. If you have the dye lot number, that can help with the matching.

Hope you enjoy your trip to Australia. I just met a fellow Whole Brain Teacher from there. She flew all the way here to Louisiana for the national conference!
