His: My First Sale on Etsy.

As some of you may know already I have set up a shop at Etsy. In case you don't know Etsy is an online marketplace for crafters, kinda like an Ebay for crafters to sell their items but without the auction aspect. I have only had a few items in my little store but last week I woke up and got an email from Etsy saying that I had made my first sale. It was a pacifier clip that was made out of fabric with pandas on it. I was very excited that someone that I have never met actually wanted to buy something that I had made. I grabbed the clip as I left for work and mailed it off that afternoon.

That evening I made another clip out of the same fabric to replace the one that I sold. A few days later I got a note from the buyer who was very happy with her purchase. Having made my first sale has given me a big confidence boost and I am more excited than ever to make more items that I can sell.

Right now I have mainly Pacifier Clips and a knitting/crochet bag in the store. I am hoping to be able to put some more stock in the store shortly. Please feel free to take a look around and make use of the following coupon code LAUNCH10 to save 10% on your purchase. Here is a link to the store https://www.etsy.com/shop/CinsCreations4u

I am looking into different items to add to my store and I would love to hear your suggestions. Below are a few things that I have made and thought may be a good addition to the store.

 More Knitting Project Bags:
I have been busy fulfilling orders for the ladies in Amanda's knitting group but I hope to make some more for the store soon.

Pillowcase Dresses:
I have made a few of these for my niece and they look really good. This may be what I attempt next since the warm weather is perfect for these dresses.
Spill Mat:
Toddlers can be messy and a spill mat makes cleaning up easy. I made this one for my niece but maybe there is a market out there for this on Etsy as well. (I did a post on this mat a few weeks ago)
So what do my wonderful readers think? Do any of these sound like they would be good additions to my Etsy store or do you have something else in mind? Don't forget to take a look at my store and use the coupon code to save 10%!
