Today we are linking up with Melinda at West Metro Mommy for Super Saturday Snapshots.
Today's Saturday Snapshot is from one of my U.S trips in 2001. About two hours into our flight from Sydney to Los Angeles I got this photo of a Qantas 747 flying alongside of us. It was at least a couple of miles away but it was close enough to get a shot even with a small digital camera. I was lucky to get this photo as most of this flight is at night and you have to be looking out of the window at just the right time to see it.
Have you seen another plane in the air when you have flown?
That is a cool pic and probably would have freaked me out...lol
ReplyDeleteNever this close. Once I saw another plane a very long distance away. I don't fly often, so it was pretty exciting to see another plane in the sky. Though I think in actuality there are many, we just are not aware.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure it was just a couple of miles away? Wow this is an amazing photo.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo. I have seen small airplanes in the sky, far underneath the jetliner I was flying in, but never a large plane like this one. So cool.

Wow, that's really cool! There's a strange coincidence to this because mum and I were on a plane last weekend, and we saw another plane really close as well!
ReplyDeleteNice shot. I've seen planes like that, but normally when you're coming in to land, and see all the other planes lining up to land.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo. Amazingly clear.
ReplyDeleteWow, very cool photo!

I haven't ever seen another airplane when up in the sky, but have taken an another unusual shot. From the sky, I saw a fire on the ground and took a photo. That was memorable.
