His and Her: Super Saturday Snapshots - Week 4

Welcome to Super Saturday Snapshots! We love taking and sharing our photos and seeing photos our friends have taken. We figured what better way to do this than with a weekly photo linky party. Sometimes there are great shots that don't always make it into the regular blog posts and this will be a fun way to share them.
We would love to have you link up with us, so dig out your favourite photos and join the party now!

Here's how to join in the fun:
1: Find your favourite photos from your week
(or from your deep dark digital vault, cell phone, etc.)
2: Post your pictures on your blog and provide
a short description of each photo
3: Grab the button and link up with us
4: Comment on at least one other post (please!) -- it only takes a moment and everyone loves getting "commented"

Here are our photos for this week's Super Saturday Snapshots!

Norfolk Admirals Hockey action.
We both love going to Norfolk Scope to see the Admirals play. Its always a lot of fun and full of action!

The Governor's Palace at Colonial Williamsburg, VA
We went to Colonial Williamsburg last year to see the village all decked out for Christmas. It was a great afternoon out and we enjoyed seeing all of the colorful decorations.

One of our roses coming into bloom last spring
We have a collection of rose bushes in the back yard and its always nice to see the first blooms of the year.

Alex trying to take a nap
I had a papisan chair as a teenager and I stored it in my grandmother's basement when we lived in the apartment as we had no room for it. When we moved into the house, Sean was super excited because his favorite chair now had a spot in the living room. Little did he know that his favorite chair would become Alex's favorite chair. Poor Sean! Happy Alex!
Santa in a winter wonder land at Busch Gardens.
Busch Gardens always decorates their theme parks for Christmas. We have made it a Christmas tradition to visit Christmastown, because it is always so beautiful. One of my favorite scenes is the blanket of lights and huge Santa decorating the Escape from Pompeii ride. There are ceramic polar bears all along the path, even some that are benches to sit and watch the lights. This part is one of my favorite sections of the park.

Artwork on the elevator shaft on our cruise ship.

Our last cruise was on the Caribbean Princess. They decorated the elevator shaft with an under the sea theme. An octopus, whale, and many fish swam along with us as we cruised. It was a beautiful way to decorate the atrium and elevators.

Happy Snapping,

  1. Your picture of the Governor's palace makes me homesick for Virginia!
