Her 25 Random Questions

Have you seen these 25 Random Questions posts floating around the blog-o-sphere? As I read Jennifer's answers at the Innerworkings of the Female Mind, I decided I had to join in the fun. Sean already posted his answers to these questions here so if you haven't had a chance to check those out, please do. 

Without further ado, here are my 25 Random Questions (and answers)...

Question 1: Do you have any pets? 
Yes, a beagle/lab/dachshund mix named Alex.

Question 2: Name three things that are physically close to you.
My cell phone, my laptop, and the TV remote.
 
Question 3: What’s the weather like right now?
Cold! Cold!! Cold!!!


Questions 4: Do you drive? If so, have you crashed?
Yes, I drive a Toyota Corolla named Clara. (Doesn't everyone name their car??) I have been in a few crashes, though none have been my fault.

Question 5: What time did you wake up this morning?  
My weekday mornings start entirely too early. I am up and moving by 5:05 a.m.

Question 6: When was the last time you showered?
This morning at around 5:10. It's what wakes me up...coffee comes later.

Question 7: What was the last movie that you saw?
I went with a good friend and saw About Time, the new Rachel McAdams movie. I posted a review here.

Question 8: What does you last text message say?
"Awesome!!!" A friend and I were picking a time to see Frozen on Saturday. I am so excited!!!

Question 9: What is your ringtone?  
"Old Phone" on my iPhone. Kinda boring but I like it.

Question 10: Have you ever been to a different country? 
Yes -- Sean and I traveled to Australia in 2006, 2007, and this past summer to visit Sean's family. We traveled to Canada on two cruises in 2010 and 2011. Also, we went to Nicaragua on mission trips in 2003, 2004, and 2005.

Question 11: Do you like sushi? 
No. Nope. *shudder*

Question 12: Where do you buy your groceries?  
Sean does the grocery shopping because I tend to go to the store and buy absolutely nothing we need but everything we want. Does that happen to anyone else? He shops at Kroger and Harris Teeter.

Question 13: Have you ever taken any medication to help you fall asleep faster? 
When I am sick, sometimes to help me fall asleep I will take NyQuil or Tylenol PM. I won't take it if I am well though.

 
Question 14: How many siblings do you have? 

One younger sister, one sister-in-law, and three brothers-in-law.

My sister, brother-in-law, Sean, me, my mom, and my niece, Bennett, earlier this spring. How cute is she??

Question 15: Do you have a desktop computer or a laptop?  
Laptop

Question 16: How old will you be turning on your next birthday?
35 (man, that does not even seem possible!)

 
Question 17: Do you wear contacts or glasses?
Contacts on most days. I wear my glasses if my contacts are bothering me.
  
Question 18: Do you color your hair?
I used to. I stopped about a year and a half ago.

I didn't have a picture for this one, but when I did the Color Me Rad 5K last year - my hair got VERY colored!

Question 20: When was the last time you cried? 
Last week when I was really frustrated with a situation at work there were a few tears. 

Question 21: What is your perfect pizza topping?  
Sausage

Question 22: Which do you prefer, hamburger or cheeseburger? 
 Cheeseburger, preferrably with bacon, preferrably from Red Robin

This is not a cheeseburger, but it is one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten - a devil's food, chocolate mousse cake from a shop in Quincy Market in Boston. (2011)

Question 23: Have you ever had an all-nighter?
On my 18th birthday we had a party with my friends. Then my friends and I went to a bowling alley for midnight, black light bowling. We then went to Denny's and returned back to my house to hang out for a while. I went to bed at about 6 a.m.

 
Question 24: What is your eye color?  

Blue

Question 25: Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke?  
Yes I can, but not enough that I think one tastes bad and one tastes good. They both taste like soda.
