Yesterday we spent some time in Vegas. Today we are White Water Rafting. We rafted in West Virginia in 2005 and in Colorado in 2007. Today's photos are from the Colorado trip as we didnt have a waterproof case for the other trip

All the rafts are ready

The rapids on this trip were pretty tame

After we got off the rafts we got on this train back to town which took us through the canyon

Rafters going through the Royal Gorge. We did this trip the following day as i booked the wrong trip initially.

Yesterday we were on Top of the World in Colorado. Today we head to Florida to see Universal Studios. We visited in 2007.

Outside the Jaws Ride which was retired not long after we visited

I loved the theming of the New York section.

The themeing of the San Francisco is pretty good too.

The ET ride has been here for quite some time but is still a fan favourite

This was one of our favourite rides. It is interactive which makes it even more fun

Revenge of the Mummy was a decent ride as well

The Twister attraction was a little disappointing. I wouldnt queue up for it again

The Fear Factor experience was ok. It was somewhat similar to the TV show.

Yesterday we spent some time in Canada. Today we head back to Central Virginia near Farmville to visit an old railroad bridge that is now part of a trail that can be used by people, cyclists and equestrians.

The bridge is nice and wide and has tall railings

There are a few of these overhangs where you can rest

The river and valley the bridge crosses over

It is dog friendly. Copper enjoyed his outing. His favourite part was when people stopped to pet him

Bandit liked it too and is enjoying a well earned rest. Its a long way when you have short legs

On Saturday we spent some time in Ontario. Today we head to Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. We visited here in 2010.

This is part of a large carving into granite. It was completed by one man and took years

Lobster traps. Lobsters are a big industry in this area

One of the many fishing/lobster vessels

One of my favourite photos of this area

The lighthouse and huge granite boulders surrounding it
